School Board Scholars and Academic Wall of Fame

The “Academic Wall of Fame” was created in 1999 to provide permanent recognition for those who have earned our most coveted academic awards. The “Academic Wall of Fame” preserves the district’s history of educational excellence while inspiring future generations to pursue academic success.

The title of a School Board Scholar is awarded to students who earn an “A” or an “A+” in every class for the duration of the school year. The students must also be enrolled full-time for at least 160 days and have grades for all four quarters of the school year.

This year, scholars were honored and celebrated at the July MVCSC Board of Trustees meeting. Before the meeting began, a cookies and punch reception celebrated the scholars and their families.

The Mt. Vernon Board of Trustees congratulates all of the School Board Scholars and Wall of Fame inductees for their impressive academic achievements.
