A message from the Principal

Dear MES Families,

At MES, we believe in creating a positive and welcoming environment for everyone—students, families, and staff alike. We appreciate your partnership in making our school a place where kindness and respect are the norm, whether in person or over the phone.

To keep things running smoothly and safely, we also ask that families follow car rider procedures by staying in their vehicles during drop-off and pick-up and following directions from staff on duty. These guidelines help us ensure a safe and efficient process for all.

Thank you for your support in making MES a great place to learn and grow!

News from the Library

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about candy and cards—it’s also a great time to celebrate friendship! Our school library has a wonderful collection of books about kindness, teamwork, and the power of friendship. From classic tales like Frog and Toad Are Friends by Arnold Lobel to heartwarming stories like The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig and Ways to Make Sunshine by Renee Watson, there’s a perfect book for every reader. Ask your student what book they are reading this week!

A message from the School Nurse

Please keep your children home if they are experiencing any of these signs of illness. If there is any uncertainty, feel free to accompany your child into the nurse's office in the morning and I am happy to help determine whether your child is alright to stay in school or needs to go back home. Thank you for your cooperation during this busy season for illnesses.

Mrs. Fisher
