A message from the Principal

Dear MES Families,

It was a great "short" week at MES! Everyone enjoyed President's Day off and our staff had a wonderful professional development day on Tuesday. I would like to give a big thank you to our MES PTO for providing our staff with an amazing breakfast on Tuesday!
If you are interested in volunteering for the MES PTO, please reach out to mespto@mvcsc.k12.in.us. Have a nice weekend!

Stephanie

News from the Library

“Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history.”     www.history.com

Here are some of our favorite biographies honoring the achievements of African Americans that are available in the library.

Goldfish Snack Drive

MES PTO have organized a Goldfish Drive, so no student goes without a snack. The top 3 classes who bring in the most individual snack packs, will win a class party. This runs from now through to February 26.

 All donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
