Have a great Labor Day weekend!

Starting school or coming back to school can be difficult for some students. Kristin Rydholm’s article, 11 Picture Books to Help Young Students Manage Their Worries can help! Be sure to check out these book suggestions to help young learners manage back to school anxiety, as well as worries in general. (Edutopia, August 15, 2022) Here are some books we have in our school library to help students understand how to manage their worries.

As per the MVCSC Handbook:
No homemade food items may be sent in for parties or celebrations. All items must be store bought and sealed.
Students should not bring or have food from restaurants (e.g., McDonald's, Subway, etc.) delivered or dropped off during school hours. This includes for birthdays, lunches, or special occasions.

These practices help maintain safety for students with food allergies and promote a consistent school environment.

It's the beginning of the year and we already have items in our lost and found. If your child is missing anything, please ask them to check or feel free to come in and take a look.
Please remember to send your child in with a snack and water bottle everyday.

Thank you!
