Dear MES Families,
We had an amazing parent teacher conference day on Wednesday! 94% of our families were able to visit with their child's teacher in person, virtually or over the phone!
As always, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher. The easiest way is through Parentsquare!
We are quickly approaching fall break. This year it is October 13-17.

As you know, students visit the MES Library once a week to check out books. Make sure to ask your child what he/she is reading. Make reading part of your routine. Children thrive in predictable environments, and daily reading time creates the consistency and sense of stability that children need. Enjoy some reading time this weekend!
If your student missed out on picture day, or you would like your student to retake their school picture. Lifetouch will be back on Friday, September 26, 2025.

Please come and check our lost and found if your child is missing anything. All items left at the end of this quarter will be donated during fall break.

If you are bringing your child to school in the morning, please drop off your child at the front drop off area beginning at 7:10 a.m.
Please enter school grounds via the back entrance on 700N. Pull all the way around and there will be staff to direct you to pull forward. They will also be there to assist your child out of the car. Parents should not get out of the car.
AM Only - When exiting the school, you may only head North (turn right) on 600W.
Please remember that you must come in to sign a student in and out of school if it is after 7:35 am or before 2:05 pm. They could be considered tardy if this procedure is not followed.
The back gate opens at 1:30 for pick-up. Do not park on the grass or anywhere on 700N. We use a cone/number system to make sure students are safe.
Please display car rider numbers during pick up.
Remain in line until you are at the end of the car rider line. Do not pull around cars.
Pull over at the end of the line if you need to buckle in your child.
Please try to let the office know of any dismissal changes no later than 1:30pm, unless there is an emergency.
Please follow all procedures.

REMINDER: Students are considered TARDY if they are not in their classroom at 7:35 a.m.
