Dear MES Families,
As you know, because of all of you, we surpassed our goal and raised $24,124.00 this fall! Mrs. Miller and Mr. Edwards kissed PIG today!
I know most teachers have sent out the MES Background Check form, but I wanted to share it again. If you wish to volunteer or chaperone a trip you must fill this out. In some cases you may be required to do a further check.

Parents, does your daily routine include time for reading each day? The benefits of reading to children include helping them build language skills, learn about the world, and develop empathy and emotional awareness. Reading together also provides an opportunity for parents and children to connect. Ask your child what book they checked out this week!
Please come and check our lost and found if your child is missing anything. All items left at the end of this quarter will be donated during fall break.

If you are bringing your child to school in the morning, please drop off your child at the front drop off area beginning at 7:10 a.m.
Please enter school grounds via the back entrance on 700N. Pull all the way around and there will be staff to direct you to pull forward. They will also be there to assist your child out of the car. Parents should not get out of the car.
AM Only - When exiting the school, you may only head North (turn right) on 600W.
Please remember that you must come in to sign a student in and out of school if it is after 7:35 am or before 2:05 pm. They could be considered tardy if this procedure is not followed.
The back gate opens at 1:30 for pick-up. Do not park on the grass or anywhere on 700N. We use a cone/number system to make sure students are safe.
Please display car rider numbers during pick up.
Remain in line until you are at the end of the car rider line. Do not pull around cars.
Pull over at the end of the line if you need to buckle in your child.
Please try to let the office know of any dismissal changes no later than 1:30pm, unless there is an emergency.
Please follow all procedures.

REMINDER: Students are considered TARDY if they are not in their classroom at 7:35 a.m.
