Dear MES Families,
Grades are available in Skyward for Q1. Access codes for ILEARN checkpoint 1 will be sent home soon. We hope to send them electronically after testing is complete for grade 3-4.
Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions.
With the change in weather comes a very full lost and found. If your child is missing anything, have them check the racks by the cafeteria.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week and Celebrate Fall dress up days!
Have a great weekend!
Stephanie
Students were excited to return back to the library this week. This first quarter we checked out 8,753 books! Did you know that every MVCSC student has a library card through the Hancock County Public Library to access online resources? To obtain a student’s library card, a parent/guardian can login to Skyward and then click Portfolio > Library Card Numbers. To use the library card in the Libby app (Libby is a free app that allows users to borrow digital content including ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines from their public library), use the pin 0000. If you have any questions about the HCPL library card, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

| Reminder - Drop off and Pick up Procedures |
|
If you are bringing your child to school in the morning, please drop off your child at the front drop off area beginning at 7:10 a.m.
Please enter school grounds via the back entrance on 700N. Pull all the way around and there will be staff to direct you to pull forward. They will also be there to assist your child out of the car. Parents should not get out of the car.
AM Only - When exiting the school, you may only head North (turn right) on 600W.
Please remember that you must come in to sign a student in and out of school if it is after 7:35 am or before 2:05 pm. They could be considered tardy if this procedure is not followed.
The back gate opens at 1:30 for pick-up. Do not park on the grass or anywhere on 700N. We use a cone/number system to make sure students are safe.
Please display car rider numbers during pick up.

Pull over at the end of the line if you need to buckle in your child.
Please try to let the office know of any dismissal changes no later than 1:30pm, unless there is an emergency.
