Dear MES Families,
ILEARN is almost complete! For parents/guardians of 3rd and 4th grade students:

- You will receive instructions on how to log to the parent portal to access results and next steps. This will come to you via Parentsquare next Friday.

- If you have questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

We have had a great day celebrating fall! I even caught a dalmatian or two!

Have a safe and fun evening!
Stephanie
The Scholastic Book Fair is fast approaching. MES will host the Book Fair  December 1 - 5 during normal school hours.  Students will be able to browse AND shop during their fixed library time. The Book Fair will also be open during the Winter Arts Festival on December 4th. Don't forget that sales tax will be collected on purchases made at the fair.  For more information or questions about the MES Book Fair, contact Nancy Price.
If you are interested in volunteering for the book fair, you can sign up here. You will need to fill out an MVCSC Background Check Form  prior to volunteering. If you have already filled one out this school year, you do not have to do it again.

| Reminder - Drop off and Pick up Procedures |
  |
If you are bringing your child to school in the morning, please drop off your child at the front drop off area beginning at 7:10 a.m.
Please enter school grounds via the back entrance on 700N. Pull all the way around and there will be staff to direct you to pull forward. They will also be there to assist your child out of the car. Parents should not get out of the car.

Please remember that you must come in to sign a student in and out of school if it is after 7:35 am or before 2:05 pm. They could be considered tardy if this procedure is not followed.
The back gate opens at 1:30 for pick-up. Do not park on the grass or anywhere on 700N. We use a cone/number system to make sure students are safe.
Please display car rider numbers during pick up.
Remain in line until you are at the end of the car rider line. Do not pull around cars.
Pull over at the end of the line if you need to buckle in your child.
Please try to let the office know of any dismissal changes no later than 1:30pm, unless there is an emergency.
