Dear MES Families,
Today marks the end of Q3. Grades will be available in Skyward by Friday, April 3. Our school closes today at 3PM and re-opens on Monday, March 30 @ 7AM.

Our March Tournament of Books has begun! Each year the Indiana Library Federation nominates 20 picture books for the Young Hoosier Book Award. We narrowed this down to16 based on circulations. Students have been voting in the library, and these 8 titles have advanced in the competition. Ask your child which book is their favorite! We will continue with the tournament after Spring Break!

We are excited to host McCordsville Elementary School's Annual Talent Show. 3rd and 4th Grade Students only. You can register your child by completing this Google Form:
Our district requires additional information on the academic needs and performance of individual children in order to ensure that the school corporation is providing instruction at the appropriate level for each child. All kindergarten and second grade students will take the screener the week of March 30th. This screener is a short 40 minute test.

Cyber Safety - Connect & Protect

MVCSC is hosting a "Cyber Safety: Connect & Protect" Digital Safety Event for Adults on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the MVHS Auditorium. Any adult is welcome to attend. The keynote speaker will be Katie Molindar, Executive Director at Zoey's Place Child Advocacy Center. Other speakers include: Seth Hamilton, Dir. of Technology, and Officer Diane Graffitti, MVHS SRO.

Reminder - Drop off and Pick up Procedures
|
|
|
If you are bringing your child to school in the morning, please drop off your child at the front drop off area beginning at 7:10 a.m.
Please enter school grounds via the back entrance on 700N. Pull all the way around and there will be staff to direct you to pull forward. They will also be there to assist your child out of the car. Parents should not get out of the car.
AM Only - When exiting the school, you may only head North (turn right) on 600W.
Please remember that you must come in to sign a student in and out of school if it is after 7:35 am or before 2:05 pm. They could be considered tardy if this procedure is not followed.
The back gate opens at 1:30 for pick-up. Do not park on the grass or anywhere on 700N. We use a cone/number system to make sure students are safe.
Please display car rider numbers during pick up.
Remain in line until you are at the end of the car rider line. Do not pull around cars.
Pull over at the end of the line if you need to buckle in your child.
Please try to let the office know of any dismissal changes no later than 1:30pm, unless there is an emergency.
Please follow all procedures.
