It’s time! You can sign up your student for our Pirate Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $25,000 for teacher supplies, sensory room improvements, field trips, convocations, and overall student support for positive behavior programs. Signing up is easy and comes with a fun prize for your student!

This week students have been learning about the sections of the Library as well as book care. You can help your student at home by asking them what section their book came from and reminding them to bring their books back to school on their library day. Reading aloud is also a great way to share in your child’s reading experience!

There is a community event coming up at the Hamilton East Public Library.They will be hosting award winning author Kelly Yang on Monday October 19th to celebrate the release of the graphic novel adaptation of Front Desk!  Please click here for more information. Registration opens up September 1st.

Morning Arrival (A.M. Unloading)

• Enter through the 700 N. entrance.
• Students may exit vehicles starting at 7:10 a.m. only when directed by staff.
• Have students ready to exit quickly before reaching the unloading area.
• Students must exit from the passenger side (building side).
• Pull all the way forward to the ⭐ on the map before unloading.
• Parents/guardians must remain in vehicles while staff assist students.

• After 7:35 a.m., park and sign your student in through the front office.

• Secure your child’s Car Rider Number to their backpack.
• Remind your child to know their number and listen for it in the gym.
• Remain in your vehicle throughout pickup.
• Follow staff directions and pull forward when instructed.

• Pickups before 2:05 p.m. require signing your child out through the front office.

• Submit changes by 1:30 p.m. whenever possible.
• Changes after 1:30 p.m. should be for emergencies only.

It's very early in the year and we have items in our lost and found. If your child is missing anything, please have them take a look or feel free to come and take a look yourself.
Lost and found items are donated at the end of each quarter.
