We are two weeks out from fall break! Friday, October 9 is our last day of Q1. Fall break runs from October 12-16. Report cards will be available in Skyward on Friday, October 23 by 3pm.
Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions.

As you know, students visit the MES Library once a week to check out books. Make sure to ask your child what he/she is reading, and incorporate reading as part of your routine. Children thrive in predictable environments, and daily reading time creates the consistency and sense of stability that children need. Enjoy some time reading this weekend!

🚨 IMPORTANT: SCHOOLCARE MUST BE COMPLETED
SchoolCare is our electronic emergency medical card and has replaced the orange cardstock emergency card previously used.ALL students are required to have their SchoolCare information completed. This ensures the school has the emergency medical information needed for your child.
Students without completed SchoolCare information cannot leave school campus for field trips or other outings.
🚨 2ND & 4TH GRADE FAMILIES
With upcoming field trips, it is especially important to make sure your child’s SchoolCare is completed BEFORE the day of the field trip.Students without completed SchoolCare information WILL NOT be able to attend the field trip.

Any items left at the end of this quarter, will be donated during fall break. If your child is missing anything please have them take a look or feel free to come and take a look yourself.

Morning Arrival (A.M. Unloading)
- Enter through the 700 N. entrance.
- Students may exit vehicles starting at 7:10 a.m. only when directed by staff.
- Have students ready to exit quickly before reaching the unloading area.
- Students must exit from the passenger side (building side).
- Pull all the way forward to the ⭐ on the map before unloading.
- Parents/guardians must remain in vehicles while staff assist students.
Late Arrival
- After 7:35 a.m., park and sign your student in through the front office.
Afternoon Dismissal (P.M. Loading)
- Secure your child’s Car Rider Number to their backpack.
- Remind your child to know their number and listen for it in the gym.
- Remain in your vehicle throughout pickup.
- Follow staff directions and pull forward when instructed.
Early Pick-Up
- Pickups before 2:05 p.m. require signing your child out through the front office.
Dismissal Changes
- Submit changes by 1:30 p.m. whenever possible.
- Changes after 1:30 p.m. should be for emergencies only.
Help Us Keep Everyone Safe!
✓ Stay in your vehicle at all times.
✓ Pull forward as far as possible.
✓ Follow staff directions.
✓ Drive slowly and watch for students and staff.
